EUGENE (USA) – Sunday, 24 July 2022 (APS) – Algerian Djamel Sedjati who made an almost perfect race in the 800m final on Saturday at the World Athletics Championships Oregon22 (Eugene, Oregon), won a precious silver medal, while the other Algerian in this very technical final, Slimane Moula, ranked 5th ahead of Frenchman Gabriel Tual.
Djamel Sedjati, finished second (1:44.14), ahead of Canadian Marco Arop (1:44.28).
The winner of the race Emmanuel Korir, already an Olympic Champion, set a time of 1:43.71, finishing first ahead of Sedjati.
The two Algerians ended this World Championship very strong, after harvesting many medals.
