ALGIERS – Monday, 21 February 2022 (APS) – Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane received Sunday, at the Palace of Government, President of the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM) Davide Tizzano, accompanied by his Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis, who is in Algiers for a working visit as part of the preparations for the 19th Mediterranean Games of Oran, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
This audience, added the source, was an “opportunity to review the progress of the preparations, especially as the President of the International Committee welcomed the pace of works of the sports infrastructures that must be completed in the next few days, as well as the mastery of the different organization aspects, confirming the expected success of this sporting event.”
The meeting was held in the presence of the adviser of President of the Republic, Adelhafidh Allahoum, Minister of Sports and Youth Abderrezak Sebgag and of the commissioner of the Mediterranean Games of Oran Mohamed Aziz Derouaz.
