ALGIERS – Thursday, 25 August 2022 (APS) – President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held on Thursday at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, talks with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.
Earlier, the President of the Republic has officially received his French counterpart at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic.
The French president began Thursday afternoon a three-day official visit to Algeria at the head of a delegation.
Upon arrival, he was received at the Houari-Boumediene International Airport by President Tebboune in the presence of senior state officials and members of the Government.
At the Martyrs’ Memorial in Algiers, President Macron laid a wreath of flowers and observed a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs of the glorious war of national liberation.
