ALGIERS – Monday, 03 July 2023 (APS) – The president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has conducted a partial reshuffle of the heads of diplomatic and consular posts, affecting 18 ambassadors, three consuls general and two consuls, the ministry of Foreign Affairs and national Community Abroad said Monday in a statement.
“As part of the measures to revitalize the diplomatic apparatus, the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has conducted a partial reshuffle of the heads of diplomatic and consular posts, affecting 18 ambassadors, three consuls general and two consuls,” the statement said.
The appointments are aimed at the “adaptation of the diplomatic apparatus to the comprehensive and radical changes in the country, to be in tune with the current requirements, and dealing effectively with the concerns of the national community abroad and Algeria’s interests at the bilateral, regional and international levels.”
