KONYA (Turkey) – Tuesday, 09 August 2022 (APS) – Prime Minister Aïmene Benabderrahmane arrived Tuesday in Konya, Turkey, to represent President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune in the opening ceremony of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games.
Benabderrahmane was received upon his arrival in the international airport of Konya by the Turkish minister of Youth and Sports, Mehmet Kasapoglu, in the presence of the minister of Youth and Sports, Abderrazak Sebgag, and Algeria’s ambassador to Turkey, Sofiane Mimouni.
Algeria is participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games (August 9-18) with 140 athletes in 12 disciplines.
