ALGIERS – Monday, 04 September 2023 (APS) – The president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has sent a condolence message to the families of the victims of the floods caused by torrential rains that swept through the provinces of Tlemcen and El Bayadh, assuring them of his support in the face of this tragedy, the presidency of the Republic said Monday in a statement.
“Following the floods caused by the torrential rains that hit some parts of the provinces of Tlemcen and El Bayadh, resulting in human and material damage, the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a condolence message to the families of the victims, in which he offered his sincere condolences, expressing his deep sympathy in the face of the tragedy, and praying to Almighty Allah to grant the victims His mercy and accept them in His paradise and to give their loved ones patience and comfort. Surely we belong to Allah and to him we shall return,” the statement said.
