ALGIERS – Thursday, 18 August 2022 (APS) – Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane on Thursday, in El Tarf, conveyed the condolences of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune to the families of the forest fire victims, expressing wish for speedy recovery to the injured, stressing the “State support and the full mobilization of different services to bring the blazes under control and to treat the injured.”

The prime minister arrived Thursday in El-Tarf, on instructions from President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to inquire about the damage caused by the wildfires in the province.

Accompanied by the minister of the Interior, Locales Authorities and National Planning, Kamal Beldjoud, Benabderrahmane visited the area and saw the extent of the damage caused by the fires in the area of Brabtia, El-Kala.

The prime minister said “all specialized services and State institutions, especially Civil Protection and Army units, are mobilized to extinguish the fires and take care of the injured and the disaster victims, on the instructions of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune.”
