ALGIERS – Monday, 18 December 2023 (APS) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community, Ahmed Attaf held bilateral talks Sunday in Oran with his counterparts from Sierra Leone, Nigeria and Tunisia, said the ministry Sunday in a statement.
Held on the sidelines of the participation of the four ministers in the High-Level Seminar on Peace and Security in Africa in Oran, the talks “provided an opportunity to discuss cooperation and brotherhood ties between Algeria and these sister countries, and discuss the progress achieved under the Oran Process aimed at unite the voice of Africa and strengthen its influence within the United Nations (UN) Security Council,” said the source.
In this regard, the FMs of these guest countries welcomed “Algeria’s commitment to the continent, a dimension of which was embodied in the Oran Process and its related steps to defend Africa’s causes and aspirations on the international scene.”
