ALGIERS – Thursday, 07 September 2023 (APS) – The minister of Health, Abdelhak Saihi, in his capacity as acting chairman of the Arab Health Ministers Council, chaired Thursday the opening ceremony of the celebration of the Arab Health Day, being held in the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo, the ministry said in a statement.
In this respect, “Saihi made an address by video-conference,” the statement said.
The celebration of the Arab Health Day was instituted at the 58th ordinary meeting of the Arab Health Ministers Council, on 14 March 2023.
The theme of the Arab Health Day this year is “The Impact of Climate Change on Health.”
