ALGIERS – Friday, 12 August 2022 (APS) – Algeria on Thursday strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on Malian Armed Forces units in Tisset, in the Three Borders Area, resulting in many casualties among the Malian soldiers.
“Algeria strongly condemns the terrorist attacks against units of the Malian Armed Forces in Tisset, in the Three Borders Area, resulting in multiples fatalities and injuries among the Malian soldiers, the ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad said Thursday in a statement.
“In this painful time, Algeria extends its condolences to the families and relatives of the victims and its best wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded,” the statement said.
“Algeria expresses solidarity with the Malian people and government and reiterates its strong support in their fight against terrorism, calling for a vigorous and effective action at both regional and international levels for the elimination of the scourge, whose negative impact on peace, security and development in Africa is worsening.”
