ALGIERS – Wednesday, 01 November 2023 (APS) – President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of the National Defense, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, inaugurated Wednesday the specialized military hospital “Mother and Child” in Beni Messous (Algiers), on the occasion of the commemoration of the 69th anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Revolution of 1 November 1954.
The President of the Republic was accompanied, during the ceremony of the inauguration, by the Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, General Saïd Chanegriha, and the Minister of Health, Abdelhak Saïhi.
With a capacity of 278 beds, this new facility specializing in maternal and child diseases serves as a modern model in accordance with the current international standards for such projects.
It is considered as one of the top-tier achievements that further bolsters the medical and social care for the personnel of the People’s National Army and their right holders.
