ALGIERS – Friday, 20 October 2023 (APS) – Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane on Thursday stressed the government’s ongoing engagement to fulfill the 54 commitments of the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
At the end of a plenary session of the Council of the Nation (upper house of Parliament) devoted to answers to the concerns of MPs on the Government’s General Policy Statement, Benabderrahmane said “we had the honour to see the adoption of the General Policy Statement at the People’s National Assembly (lower house of Parliament) and the Council of the Nation.
This shows the success of the Government in its approach on the implementation of the 54 commitments of the president of the Republic, which lay the foundation of New Algeria with a revival in all fields relating to the daily life of citizens.”
The premier said that what has been achieved so far, as shown by the General Policy Statement of the Government, was only a part of what is planned.
He added that “all ministerial sectors are involved in the completion of the implementation of the commitments of the president of the Republic.”
Benabderrahmane emphasized the need to “persevere” and strive to meet the citizens’ aspirations to progress and prosperity in all areas.
