ALGIERS – Tuesday, 17 October 2023 (APS) – The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmad Attaf, received Monday, in Algiers, his Tunisian counterpart, Nabil Ammar, with whom he reviewed the developments of the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, the ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
The meeting was “an opportunity to review the developments of the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories amid the ongoing Zionist aggressions against the besieged Gaza Strip,” the statement said.
The two ministers exchanged “views on international and regional reactions and the diplomatic efforts undertaken to halt this barbaric aggression and revive the peace process in the Middle East.”
The Tunisian minister of Foreign Affairs is visiting Algeria to take part in the 20th Ministerial Meeting of African-Nordic countries starting on Tuesday.
