OUM EL BOUAGHI (Algeria) – Wednesday, 30 August 2023 (APS) – The minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, stressed Wednesday, in Oum El Bouaghi, the necessity to recover, “as quickly as possible,” of the unused industrial land.
In a visit to the public establishment for the manufacturing of prefab mobile Saharan cabins (CAPREF), in Ain M’lila, as part of an inspection and working visit to Oum El Bouaghi, the minister, after listening to a presentation on his sector, gave instructions to the concerned managers to speed up the process of recovering the unused industrial land and provide it to “real investors.”
Aoun gave them a deadline until the end of the year for the application of the laws in force in relation to the industrial land, which, according to him, are “specific and clear” laws in terms of the recovery of unused land and the bringing to court of fake investors.
The minister stressed the need to connect, “as soon as possible,” the industrial areas in the province of Oum El Bouaghi to the different networks, especially natural gas, electric power and the internet via optical fiber, to increase the pace of works for industrial areas development and to launch the investment projects in the region.
