ALGIERS – Tuesday, 25 July 2023 (APS) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf received Tuesday, a phone call from Tanzania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and East-African Cooperation Stergomena Tax with whom he examined ways to strengthen the bilateral relations and the next events, the ministry said in a statement.
“Stergomena Tax offered, on behalf of her country, her heartfelt condolences to Algeria for the victims of the forest fires that occurred in several provinces,” expressing “Tanzania’s solidarity with Algeria in this difficult and painful situation,” added the source.
The two ministers discussed “ways to strengthen the Algerian-Tanzanian relations in anticipation of the next bilateral events, notably the fifth session of the Joint Committee, scheduled for August in Algiers, stressing the necessity of continuing and intensifying the efforts for the success of this important event and the achievement of the expected objectives at different levels,” said the ministry.
