SHENZHEN (China) – Friday, 21 July 2023 (APS) – The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, left the People’s Republic of China on Friday, where he made a state visit at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping.
On Friday and Saturday, the President of the Republic will pay a working visit to Turkey, where he will meet his brother, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During his state visit, which began last Monday, President Tebboune received a solemn welcome at the Great Hall of the People from his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping.
The two presidents held face-to-face talks, before co-chairing the signing ceremony of 19 documents between the two countries, including agreements and memorandums of understanding.
As part of his visit, the President of the Republic met with senior officials of the People’s Republic of China, namely the Chinese Premier, Li Qiang, and the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People’s National Congress of China, Zhao Leji.
In Shenzhen, the President of the Republic met the Vice Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Committee in Guangdong Province, Meng Fanli.
In Beijing, President Tebboune also met representatives of the national community established in China and listened to and responded to their concerns on various issues.
