ZURICH (Switzerland) – Thursday, 06 April 2023 (APS) – Algerian national football team has gained six places and ranks 34th in the latest FIFA ranking published on Thursday by the international body on its official website.
The two victories of the Algerian desert foxes in March against Niger (2-1/first leg and 0-1/second leg) as part of the 3rd and 4th days in the qualifiers for Africa Cup of Nations are behind Algeria’s new ranking.
At the continental level, the Algerian team ranks fourth and gains three positions compared to FIFA’ last ranking.
