ALGIERS – Sunday, 02 April 2023 (APS) – Algeria will implement a “voluntary” cut 48,000 barrels/day, starting next May and until the end of the current year, in coordination with some OPEC and non-OPEC countries, the Ministry of Energy and Mines said Sunday in a statement.
“Algeria will implement a voluntary cut of 48 000 barrels per day from May till the end of 2023 in coordination with some OPEC and non-OPEC Participating Countries in the Declaration of Cooperation,” the same source said.
“This voluntary cut is a precautionary measure in addition to the reduction in production agreed at the 33rd OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting on October 5, 2022,” the statement said.
