ALGIERS – Saturday, 28 January 2023 (APS) – The first Algeria Fintech & E-Commerce Summit will be held February 18-19 in Algiers, the organizers of the event said in a statement.
The event will be held under the patronage of the minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-Businesses, the minister of Digitization and Statistics and the minister of Post and Telecommunications, in partnership with the Algerian Grouping of Digital Players (GAAN) and the grouping of economic Interest “GIE-Monetics,” the statement said.
The main goal of the summit, to be held at the International Convention Centre, is to “participate in the development of e-commerce activity and online payment in Algeria and to significantly contribute to the government’s objectives in the field,” organizers said.
It is also meant to be a “forum for a constructive debate on issues relating to fintech and e-commerce,” and an “opportunity to build special relationships with potential partners and customers.
