ALGIERS – Tuesday, 12 July 2022 (APS) – The Algerian nationals wounded in the armed attack perpetrated in the suburbs of Gao (Mali) were repatriated, Tuesday morning, upon instructions from the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who ordered their transport and transfer to the Military Hospital of Ain Naadja aboard a military ambulance plane, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad in a statement.
“Upon instructions from the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, a military ambulance aircraft transported the Algerian nationals injured in the armed attack perpetrated in the suburbs of Gao in Mali, on the night of Friday, July 8, 2022, to Mohamed-Seghir-Nekkache Military Hospital in Ain Naadja,” said the source.
“Prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community abroad, in coordination with the authorities of the Republic of Mali, this operation was carried out with diligence by the services of the Ministry of National Defense,” said the source.
This measure was “welcomed by the families and relatives of the wounded, who expressed their deep gratitude to the President of the Republic and the High Command of the People’s National Army (ANP),” said the source.
